50 Days, 50 Movies, 50 Posters: The minimalist movie/tv show poster project by Heyho Design

During these times, when mass digital content has become a way of life, clutter and noise often precedes the convenience of choices and availability. Where our minds aim to digest constant complex information at a rapid speed, there is a certain lack of simplicity and clarity. 

The idea behind the posters came from this very observation. We took complex ideas (movies and TV shows) and showcased them in extremely simple and basic shapes. The result is s series of strong illustrative compositions, distinguishing shapes through our senses. 

Personal projects are extremely integral in keeping the creative process active. We tend to do a lot of work which involves typography and layouts for our clients. Thus, illustration becomes an important medium of creative play for us.

We used movies & shows people have seen who one way or another earned its place in our particular hall of fame. Portrayed in a colourful, compact and geometric style. Ever seen Bollywood in such a minimalist style?

A strange year 2020 and an uncertain summer with months of hunkering down in our living rooms, looking for something to watch on TV.
